THE EXAMINATION COVERS:

  • Extensive survey with doctor about previous health, heredity, present situation and lifestyle

  • Clinical examination by doctor

  • Resting ECG

  • Exercise ECG

  • Blood analysis (47 pcs)

  • Bone Mineral Density Measurement

  • MRI aortic arch

  • Spirometry

  • Echocardiogram, ultrasonic heart

  • Carotid Doppler, ultrasonic pulse vessel in the neck

  • Femoral Doppler, ultrasonic pulse vessels in the groin

  • Closing conversation with doctor when risk factors and possible lifestyle changes are also reviewed. Treatment and control at the clinic of newly discovered diseases. If necessary, referral to specialist clinic. Written summary of findings and USB with MR images.

  • Sleep registration with apnea analys

SUPPLEMENTARY EXAMINATIONS:

The Executive Heart screening can be supplemented with different MRI examinations:

  • MRI orthopedic e.g. low back, shoulder or knee SEK 3.500
  • MRI soft parts of the throat SEK 4.500

Other MRI examinations are available according to our pricelist. No VAT (moms) will be added to our examinations.

In the case of a change of date/ cancellation less than 7 days prior to the confirmed examination, a fee of 25% will be applied. If less than 24 hours prior to the examination, the fee is 100%.

Although I always felt good, healthy and decently fit, I thought it might as well be wise to make a major “overhaul” of my health so that any possible defect could be (hopefully) corrected in time.

I was actually a little nervous before the presentation of the results. When the doctor told me to take a deep breath and relax, you’re still a winner, it felt nice but a little bit disturbing. It turned out that my cholesterol was too high. At the ultrasound test of my carotid arteries, it also turned out that I had the precursor to plaque formation. When the doctor said that if I had waited for 7 years, the situation might not have been so bright, I came to think of my mother who had the same problem and who died due to stroke.
